You Are Not Your Past
Your past may explain you, but it does not define you. Yes, you’ve made mistakes. Yes, you’ve been through things that hurt you, shaped you, and maybe even made you question your worth — but that is not who you are.
You are not a failure.
You are not the addiction.
You are not the trauma.
You are not the betrayer.
You are not what they said.
You are not what you did.
You are who God says you are.
Redeemed. Chosen. Forgiven. Loved. Set apart for a purpose.
The enemy wants to keep you chained to a memory, but Jesus came to break every chain. Your past has no power over a surrendered future. God is still writing your story, and your next chapter doesn’t have to read like your last.
So walk in grace. Stand in freedom. Live in truth.
You are not your past — you’re a testimony in progress.
