Shift Into Alignment

4/6/26

As you enter into this week, it is important that we follow God’s direction for our lives and do what He instructs us to do.

In the month of March, I kept hearing in my spirit one word: Shift.

I didn’t fully understand what that would look like in my own life, but I felt the tug. A gentle but firm pull to step away from certain platforms for a season.

Then I heard another word: Alignment.

Again, I didn’t have all the details—but I had a willingness to obey. Because I know this: God’s leading outweighs my understanding.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV)

Before I could fully step into the shift, God instructed me to close certain doors—and not revisit them. He made it clear. And I followed. Sometimes we desire new doors, but we resist closing the old ones God has already addressed.

“See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it…” — Revelation 3:8But notice—God opens doors after obedience.

There are moments when God is moving us, but we delay because what He’s asking us to release feels small… or familiar… or even comfortable.

But we must not overlook what seems small.

“Who despises the day of small things?” — Zechariah 4:10Because God can use one act of obedience to unlock your next season.

You have to pay attention to the shifts in your environment—the nudges, the changes, the discomfort, the redirection—and respond accordingly.

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1

Now, I find myself in a Selah season—a time of reset, rest, reflection, and renewal.

Not hidden… but positioned.

Not inactive… but being prepared.

Because alignment requires stillness before movement.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31

And let me say this:

It is okay to give yourself permission to step away from being out front—so you can focus on what God is doing behind the scenes.

Some of your greatest growth will not be public.

🙏🏽 Closing Encouragement

As you enter this new week, my prayer for you is this:

That you will hear God clearly. That you will trust His leading completely.

And that you will choose to be a God-pleaser over a people-pleaser.

“For do I now persuade men, or God? …If I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

This is your season to shift…

To align…

And to walk boldly in what God is doing nex
