*“I don’t think I would have come into my own without the Lord and the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. Without Him, I believe I would have remained a follower—a people pleaser—not a faith walker. But something about the Lord—He will push you out, ready or not.
You must always be preparing, always ready to do the will of the Father. I truly feel I’ve graduated because now I seek to please the audience of One—the only One whose ‘well done’ truly matters.
Be ready to preach the Word in season and out of season, trusting that obedience is greater than applause.”**
Scriptures:
• 2 Timothy 4:2 (NIV): “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”
• Galatians 1:10 (NIV): “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
• Romans 8:14 (KJV): “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
• Colossians 3:23–24 (NIV): “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters… It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
• Matthew 25:21 (KJV): “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant…”
