LIVING IN THE FULLNESS OF GOD

Updated: Nov 8, 2025

Living in the Fullness of God”

 Key Scripture:

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

— Ephesians 3:19 (KJV)

 Devotional Thought:

Have you ever felt like something was missing, even while walking with God? Maybe you’ve had moments when your cup felt half full—drained by life, people, or pain. But God never intended for us to live empty, or even just “enough.” His desire is for us to live filled—with His presence, power, peace, and purpose. That’s what it means to walk in the fullness of God.

God’s fullness isn’t a feeling. It’s a reality we access through intimacy with Christ. Everything God is—His love, His wisdom, His strength, His mercy—He has made available to us. Not in pieces. Not in stages. But in fullness.

When we dwell in Him, we don’t just survive—we overflow. And when life hits hard, His fullness keeps us grounded. It keeps us rooted. Because it’s not just about what we have, it’s about who lives in us.

What is the Fullness of God?

In simple terms:

The fullness of God is the total expression of His nature and presence—revealed in Christ, received through the Holy Spirit, and reflected in us.

 Biblical Breakdown:

 1. In Christ, Fullness is Revealed

“For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.” — Colossians 2:9 (NLT)

➤ Want to know what God looks like? Look at Jesus. He is the fullness in the flesh.

 2. In Us, Fullness is Experienced

“You also are complete through your union with Christ.” — Colossians 2:10 (NLT)

➤ We are not incomplete, abandoned, or overlooked. We are full, whole, and equipped in Him.

 3. Through the Spirit, Fullness is Activated

“Be filled with the Spirit.” — Ephesians 5:18

➤ We stay full by staying connected. Just like a phone needs constant charging, our spirit needs constant communion.

 Reflection Questions:

 1. Where in your life have you been living half-full or half-believing?

 2. What are some things that have been draining your spiritual tank?

 3. Are you making space daily to be filled with God’s Spirit and Word?

 Prayer:

Father, I don’t want to live on empty or just enough. Fill every part of me with your presence. Let your fullness flow through my thoughts, my words, my decisions, and my relationships. I want to know You deeper and reflect You clearer. In Jesus’ name, amen.

 Affirmation:

I am filled with the fullness of God. I lack nothing in Him. I overflow with divine purpose, peace, and power.
